CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX), the nation's largest retailer of used
cars, is pleased to announce that Angie Chattin, senior vice
president and president of CarMax Auto Finance, has been selected as one
of the "100 Leading Women in the North American Auto Industry" by
AUTOMOTIVE NEWS magazine, the leading publication for the auto industry.

Ms. Chattin joined CarMax in 1996 and assumed responsibility for CarMax
Auto Finance in 1997. She was promoted several times, most recently in
2010 to senior vice president and president of CarMax Auto Finance,
located in Kennesaw, Georgia. She is responsible for the executive
leadership of the entire CarMax Auto Finance division, which provides
financing to CarMax customers nationwide. Ms. Chattin leads a team of
more than 550 associates and oversees the division's strategic planning,
origination strategy, financial analysis, accounting and receivable
operations. CarMax Auto Finance's managed receivables have grown from
$250 million to more than $4 billion under Angie's leadership.

Ms. Chattin grew up in Athens, Alabama and received her Bachelor of
