RICHMOND, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- For 15 consecutive years, CarMax, Inc. (NYSE: KMX), the nation’s largest retailer of used cars, has been named by FORTUNE magazine as one of its 100 Best Companies to Work For ®. CarMax ranks 33 for 2019.

CarMax is currently hiring for more than 1,200 positions in existing and new locations across the country. The majority of open store positions are in sales and service operations including technicians, inventory roles, and more. Additional positions are available in the business office and for fleet drivers. Some of the areas with a large number of job openings include: San Francisco, CA; Portland, OR; Seattle, WA; Boston, MA; Houston and Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; and Denver, CO. Positions range from full to part-time, with day and evening shifts available.

The company is also hiring for customer service positions at CarMax Auto Finance in Atlanta, GA and for marketing, technology, product and corporate strategy positions at the CarMax Home Office and the CarMax Digital and Technology Innovation Center in Richmond, Virginia.
